Vertical light oil separator with a bypass is used for cost-effective drainage of large areas (large car parks, roads, etc.). Only a part of the water input quantity is passed through the separator system, while the rest of the flow is passed directly into the outflow pipes/sewers via an internal bypass.

The function principle of the ACO Oleosmart is based on the use of the kinetic energy from the water as it flows out. The liquid flowing in is led over a baffle into the outer, non-clogging coalescence channels, where the separation process takes place. ACO Dividing shaft is an external solution of bypass system. Only a part of the water input quantity is passed through the connected separator system, while the rest of the flow is passed directly into the outflow pipes/sewers via bypass pipes. Integral part of external bypass system is also ACO Merging shaft.
ACO Merging shaft is a part of external bypass system. It merges out flow from oil separator and bypass flow into one outlet. Integral part of external bypass system is also ACO Dividing shaft.
