Waste management products

In 2017, ACO Building Drainage introduced the ACO glass collector, which was then available only as a custom solution for our customers. Since then, we developed this concept further and now we are proud to introduce the new ACO waste trap. Based on the original glass collector design, the new ACO waste trap helps to deal with excess waste, which would eventually end up inside drainage.

In Food or Beverage productions, certain amounts of organic waste like meat, vegetable leafs, or solids like etiquettes, glass shards or bones frequently fall down on the floor and clog the conventional silt basket in very short time, demanding frequent maintenance. As the water cannot drain away, it causes delays in production, compromise work safety conditions and the risk of contamination is greatly increased.

The new design of ACO waste trap construction follows hygienic design principles, which means that it is faster and easier to clean and maintain.

ACO waste trap comes equiped with either perforated, or solid waste filter basket. The basket option is defined by customer's preference during product specification process.

Perforated

The perforated version will effectively separate food production debris like labels, glass shards or larger pieces of organic waste.

Solid

The solid version with sealed bottom effectively separates non-floating small particles, like microscopic glass shards.

As part of the newly introduced waste management products, the new ACO waste filter is a suitable and convenient solution for already installed box channels.

The ACO waste filter has similar functionality to the ACO waste trap baskets for separation of high amount of waste during food production and preparation process. Available as a semi-standard solution, the ACO waste filter is compatible with certain channel widths and heights.
