Student artist wins first ACO scholarchip

The ACO Christmas card this year features the work of young artist Natálie Sodomková. A student at the School of Art and Graphics in Jihlava in the Czech Republic, Natálie has been awarded the first ACO Scholarship for extraordinarily talented students and will have part of her school fees paid by ACO.

Natálie competed against 60 other students to win the ACO Scholarship which was judged by a committee comprising eight members of ACO’s senior management and marketing teams.

Commenting on her painting, Natálie said: ˝I wanted to express the beauty and mystique of the underwater world and the life within it. My simple illustration combines the themes of ice, water and purity.ˮ

Natálie’s painting will now be auctioned to raise funds for charity.
