ACO hosted first FCSI & EHEDG meeting
Leading drainage specialist ACO hosted the first meeting between the Foodservice Consultants Society International (FCSI) and the European Hygienic Engineering & Design Group (EHEDG) on 7th December (2015). The meeting was held at the ACO Academy Conference Centre at the company’s Rendsburg headquarters.
Mr Hans-Julius Ahlmann and Mr Iver Ahlmann officially welcomed the Boards of the FCSI (EAME) and EHEDG to the meeting which has been arranged to enable both organisations to explore how they could work together to drive improvements in food hygiene in both food processing and foodservice environments.
Michal Bačkovský of ACO commented: “We believe the extensive work undertaken by EHEDG regarding hygienic design in food processing environments and the considerable expertise of the FCSI with regard to commercial kitchen design can be successfully combined to help the food industry put hygiene first at every part of the food chain ranging from the processing plant to the plate.
In our view, this makes this an important meeting for the food industry and we were delighted to welcome both Boards to Rendsburg and to play a key part in the facilitation of this discussion.”
